It’s June and that means only one thing - Wedding Season is upon us! From Bachelorette Parties, to Bridal Showers and Weddings, custom cookies make the perfect treat for your special event. Sending guests home with a cookie that’s not only adorable, but also delicious, makes the perfect wedding favor.
Here in Destin, Florida, there’s one theme that no one ever seems to tire of - the beach! Our emerald green waters and white sandy beaches provide the perfect backdrop to so many events, and the perfect theme for so many cookies. I love anytime I get to design and decorate beach themed cookies - especially these flamingo ones below. Now that's my kind of 'Bride Tribe'!
One of my staple designs has always been my starfish and sand dollar cookies. It was actually the inspiration behind my name, Coastal Cookies. When I first started decorating cookies, I was working in real estate and a lot of the agents ordered starfish and sand dollar cookies for closing gifts (thank you!!). For awhile, all I made seemed to be beach and coastal themed cookies, making the name Coastal Cookies pop into my head. It stuck :)
One time, I even had a co-worker tell me that the clients she gave my cookies to loved them sooo much that they turned 2 of them into Christmas ornaments! How cool is that?! (Side note: I need to try this next Christmas!) Since then, I’ve sold a lot of starfish and sand dollar cookies as wedding favors, party favors, closing gifts, and everything in between. Needless to say, I can’t wait to see what this wedding season brings. Be sure to follow along my journey on social media!

Do NOT order from this woman. I placed an order for my daughter’s first birthday to be picked up on April 10th. I paid a whopping $98 for these cookies as soon as the order was placed. Due to COVID-19 we had to cancel the party so on April 2nd I contacted Sarah about moving the date. I heard nothing back from her so on April 8th I told her that since she did not respond to my request to change the pick up date I would be there on the 10th as planned to pick up my order.
